Guild Direction

Strawberry Tigers was founded back in 2005. The game has progressed a lot since then and it is time for change.

Recently the officers of Strawberry Tigers have made an effort to decide what direction the guild should be heading to. This means that we had to make a decision on whether or not we are a social guild or a raiding guild with social members.

Raiding

The conclusion is that we want to advertise ourselves as a raiding guild and recruit specifically for this. This means that we will be looking for raiders within and outside of Strawberry Tigers. We are looking for people who are willing to be prepared, improve their performance and read tactics before joining the raid. Our goal is and will continue to be to reach Ahead of the Curve. However, this time we will set requirements in order to achieve AotC earlier and thus be able to challenge ourselves with achievements, re-clears and perhaps even a Mythic boss or two. Officers will always support you if you struggle, or need help with rotation or gear.

With recruitment comes sacrifice. We will be going for a 2-4-14 setup whenever possible. That will reduce the presence of the Strawberry Tiger Raid Community in our raids. There are some core players that will continue in our raids. These people have supported us and have always tried to help us raise the quality of our raids and we feel they have earned a spot with us in the future.

In addition to reducing the presence of the community; We may be in a situation that we have too many players online every now and again who would like to join the raids. With Kamma and Elrondir doing the raid leading and organizing – the officer team fully supports them in creating the best setup for us to succeed in our goals.

Recruitment

In order to attract new raiders, we will update our WoWprogress.com profile with a fresh text. This text will also be used on Reddit, to try to spark some interest in the recruitment channel there. In addition, we will also be recruiting in-game through the recruitment tool and active global channel promotion. The recent changes happening on the guild website is a big part of this, to offer potential new players a place to look for information about us. It will help a lot during the recruitment process and as a promotional tool to show that we are an active guild. The shoutbox on the webpage has been replaced by Discord, however any large updates and guild activities will always be announced on the webpage.

Social

The social aspect of Strawberry Tigers has always been important. We’re a guild that likes to joke around, enjoy each other’s company during Mythic+, PvP or other silly adventures such as Naked Gnome Runs. With the newly created social ranks and raider ranks, we are trying to cater to what you feel is your role in the guild. Do you want to be a raider? Great, let’s do it! Do you want to be social? That’s great! You have the freedom to choose how you play your game with us, as long as you uphold the friendly atmosphere and good (bad?) jokes we all enjoy.
